Business Development Strategist

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Business Development Strategist to expand our construction and real‑estate portfolio. You will identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and convert leads into long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction and real‑estate sectors.
• Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into clients.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, investors, contractors, corporate organisations and individual clients.
• Conduct market research to spot emerging trends, client needs and competitor activities.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations and sales pitches.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring profitability.
• Collaborate with marketing and project teams to support lead generation and client engagement.
• Maintain an organised sales pipeline and provide regular activity reports.
• Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate or a related field.
• 2–4 years of business development, sales or client acquisition experience, preferably in construction or real estate.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian construction and real‑estate market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
