Business Development & Sales Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development & Sales Manager to drive growth for AJC Nigeria Limited. The role involves expanding our customer base across Nigeria and increasing market share in the manufacturing and packaging sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to boost revenue and market presence.
• Identify, approach and secure new customers nationwide.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, manufacturers and corporate clients.
• Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities.
• Visit clients and prospects to promote products and negotiate contracts, pricing and supply terms.
• Prepare monthly sales forecasts and business development reports.
• Collaborate with production to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Represent the company at trade exhibitions, industry events and networking functions.
• Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategic actions.
• Lead and motivate the sales team as the business expands.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in business development or sales.
• Experience in manufacturing, plastics, packaging or FMCG is advantageous.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
• Willingness to travel across Nigeria.
