Business Development Manager – Solar Enterprise

About the role

Our client is seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager for a solar enterprise to lead field sales, expand market reach and drive adoption of solar inverter solutions in the Lekki area of Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and manage a network of Inverter Energy Officers.
• Drive solar inverter sales and achieve monthly sales and collection targets.
• Conduct field visits, market activations and community engagement initiatives.
• Coach and support field teams to improve sales performance and customer service.
• Resolve customer inquiries and after‑sales issues promptly.
• Monitor field operations and provide regular performance updates.
• Organise weekly review meetings and maintain high team engagement and productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in sales, field operations or customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent leadership, communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Deep knowledge of the Lekki/Lagos market.
• Proven ability to build and lead high‑performing sales teams.
• Ability to consistently meet and exceed performance targets.
