Business Development Manager - Oil & Gas

About the role

JMG Limited, Nigeria’s leading integrated electromechanical solutions provider, is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to expand its Oil & Gas division. The role focuses on identifying, developing, and closing high‑value opportunities with International Oil Companies operating in Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate the IOC market and increase market share.
• Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with decision‑makers, procurement leads, and project managers at major IOCs such as Shell, TotalEnergies, Chevron, and ExxonMobil.
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure, delivering technical and commercial proposals.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and IOC budgets to anticipate opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal technical, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7‑10 years of business development or commercial experience in the Nigerian oil and gas sector, specifically with IOCs.
• Proven record of winning multi‑million‑dollar contracts with IOCs.
• Extensive, verifiable network of contacts within the oil and gas industry.
