About the role
KBR is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead sales and growth initiatives across Sub‑Saharan Africa, based in Nigeria. The role will initially focus on building KBR's presence in the local market and later expand to drive regional business across the energy sector.
Key responsibilities
- Define and deliver the business plan, achieving or exceeding financial, operational and development targets.
- Identify, evaluate and capitalize on new opportunities using market intelligence, regulatory insight and industry trends.
- Forge and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders in NOCs, IOCs, EPC partners, project developers and government agencies.
- Lead end‑to‑end bid and proposal development, coordinating closely with technical teams.
- Contribute to the MEA leadership team and support the broader Africa growth strategy.
Required profile
- Extensive domain expertise in the energy sector.
- Proven track record in business development, client engagement and negotiation.
- Experience managing senior‑level relationships with national and international oil companies and government bodies.
- Ability to work autonomously and lead cross‑functional teams.
