Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for Hireeast.ng by identifying new opportunities, building pipelines, and converting leads into revenue. You will work closely with prospects and existing clients to expand the company’s footprint in the recruitment sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, social media, and research.
• Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients and conduct outreach to introduce the company’s services.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial presentations, and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Convert qualified leads into paying clients while meeting revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, following up consistently throughout the sales cycle.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
• Research competitors, market trends, and emerging business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, and sales activities in the CRM and prepare regular performance reports.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related commercial role.
• Proven ability to generate leads and close sales.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to engage decision‑makers and business owners confidently.
• Commercial awareness with a solid understanding of customer needs.
• Excellent organization, follow‑up, and time‑management abilities.
• Comfortable using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and digital sales tools.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and capable of working independently.
