Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will work full‑time on‑site in Abuja, driving new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships across key sectors. The role involves market research, proposal development, contract negotiation and collaboration with internal teams to deliver tailored HR solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and convert new business opportunities in target markets.
• Nurture and grow relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct market research and opportunity analysis to inform proposals.
• Develop and present customized HR consulting proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet revenue targets.
• Manage the sales pipeline, prepare reports and forecasts.
• Represent the company at meetings, events and industry forums.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and deliver solutions.
• Support marketing initiatives and contribute to strategic planning.

Required profile

• Strong business development and sales experience, including lead generation, pipeline management and deal closing.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and drive account growth.
• Experience in market research, opportunity analysis and proposal development.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and achieve growth targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources or related field; advanced degree or certifications a plus.
• 2‑3 years of experience in the Real Estate sector.
