Business Development Manager (Events)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead growth in the corporate events sector. You will shape our vendor network, advise clients on tailored event solutions, and drive revenue through strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies for corporate events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring alignment with event objectives.
• Provide expert consultation to clients, delivering customized event solutions.
• Identify, onboard, and negotiate contracts with high‑quality vendors.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
• Monitor industry trends to uncover new business opportunities.
• Analyze event performance data and vendor feedback to optimise processes.
• Promote the company’s event services through digital and physical marketing initiatives.
• Resolve vendor‑related issues promptly to maintain strong partnerships.

Required profile

• HND or BSc in Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning, consulting, or vendor management.
• Deep understanding of the corporate event industry and vendor landscape.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Creative and analytical mindset focused on delivering results.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Experience using project management software.
• Familiarity with digital marketing platforms.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from NGN 200,000 to NGN 350,000 per month.
