Business Development Manager (Engineering)

About the role

The Business Development Manager – Engineering will lead client acquisition and revenue growth for Be‑vany Resources’ procurement and engineering services in the oil and gas sector. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will identify new opportunities, manage tender processes and build strategic relationships with IOCs, NOCs and EPC contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source new clients requiring procurement and engineering services.
• Manage company registration, pre‑qualification and bidding on NipeX and Ariba platforms.
• Track, evaluate and respond to tenders, RFQs and RFPs published on industry portals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with procurement officers, technical evaluators and key decision‑makers.
• Create commercial proposals, pre‑qualification documents and bid submissions in line with client and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor industry trends, NCDMB local‑content rules and competitor activity.
• Represent the company at industry events, vendor forums and client meetings.
• Provide regular pipeline and sales performance reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience in oil & gas, procurement or engineering services.
• Proven track record of acquiring clients and closing deals in the oil & gas sector.
• Strong network with IOCs, NOCs and EPC companies is an advantage.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with the NipeX procurement platform.
• Hands‑on experience with the Ariba procurement platform.
