Business Development Manager – Customer Acquisition

About the role

BrandDrive is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to lead customer acquisition across Nigeria. You will build a pipeline from scratch, pitch subscription‑based business management and financial solutions, and convert prospects into paying subscribers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and onboard businesses through cold outreach, networking, events and referrals.
• Pitch BrandDrive’s fintech/SaaS solutions to owners and decision‑makers and close subscription deals.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Track pipeline activity, wins and conversion rates daily and report insights to the team lead.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, cross‑sell relevant products and support retention.
• Represent BrandDrive at trade fairs, market activations and conduct market research to uncover new opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in fintech, SaaS, banking or B2B services.
• Proven track record of acquiring and managing paying business clients.
• Strong understanding of the local business and financial services landscape.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and hit targets with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Tertiary education from a recognised institution.
