Business Development Intern

About the role

GAO Tek Inc is looking for a motivated Business Development Intern to support the sales team in identifying new opportunities and building a strong prospect pipeline. You will work remotely, gaining exposure to global business development strategies while contributing to the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Run searches on LinkedIn and Google to locate suitable prospects.
• Filter company lists to select prospects that match the ideal customer profile.
• Research potential clients, partners, and business opportunities to create a robust prospect list.
• Initiate outbound communication via email and social media to generate interest.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a coordinated business development approach.
• Prepare regular reports and updates on activities and progress for management.

Required profile

• Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing, technology or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent research and analytical abilities.
• Eagerness to learn, positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Availability to work 20 hours per week during the internship period.
