Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive growth for Learngual’s multilingual AI‑powered education platform by identifying and converting new B2B opportunities across Nigeria. This full‑time remote position combines prospecting, client education, and relationship management to expand the company’s footprint in schools, universities and corporate training teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect language schools, universities, ESL providers, corporate training teams and education partners across Nigeria.
• Conduct discovery calls, product demos and onboard clients on free trials.
• Visit prospective and existing clients for meetings, demonstrations and relationship building.
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through negotiation to closing.
• Explain Learngual’s multilingual platform, AI language intelligence, analytics, assessments and API.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide weekly pipeline reports.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of B2B sales experience in SaaS, edtech or education services.
• Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation and follow‑up abilities.
• Comfortable working remotely and travelling locally within Nigeria for client visits.
• Degree or equivalent practical experience.
