Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive growth within the insurance market for JV Management Consulting Limited. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, generating leads, and converting prospects into satisfied clients while building lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the insurance sector.
• Generate leads, conduct sales presentations, and convert prospects into clients.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Promote and explain the company’s insurance products and services.
• Follow up on leads, proposals, and prospective deals.
• Develop strategies to meet assigned sales and revenue targets.
• Research market trends to uncover additional business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, and sales activities.
• Prepare regular business development and sales reports.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, Economics or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales or marketing, preferably within insurance.
• Strong understanding of sales and client acquisition strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Proven track record of generating leads and closing business.
• Target‑driven, confident, proactive and self‑motivated.
• Based in or willing to work in Abuja.
• Female candidates are preferred.

• Competitive monthly salary between NGN 200,000 and NGN 250,000.
