Business Development Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to drive growth of our IT and networking solutions in the Abuja market. You will identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, generate and qualify new business opportunities to expand the client base.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Conduct client meetings to understand business needs and present appropriate IT and networking solutions.
• Develop and deliver proposals, quotations and presentations.
• Manage the sales pipeline, follow up on leads and convert opportunities into projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions align with client requirements.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close deals while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging opportunities.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to revenue goals.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, B2B sales or account management within the technology industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and capable of working independently.
