About the role
The Business Development Executive will drive growth for a financial services firm by acquiring new clients, expanding loan and deposit portfolios, and managing credit operations. The role combines sales, client relationship management, and risk oversight to increase revenue while maintaining a healthy loan book.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, acquire, and manage new and existing clients to grow loan and deposit portfolios.
- Conduct business reviews, prepare proposals, and present tailored financial solutions.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adapt marketing strategies.
- Perform preliminary credit screening and risk assessments for loan applicants.
- Coordinate with internal teams to process credit applications and ensure documentation compliance.
- Detect early warning signs of delinquency, engage clients proactively, and execute recovery actions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports, maintaining accurate client and credit records for audit purposes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial product sales, credit analysis, or business development.
- Strong knowledge of financial services, lending practices, and credit management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
- Proven track record of meeting sales and revenue targets.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience using CRM software for client and pipeline management.
