Brand Manager – Pharma & Insurance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Brand Manager to lead brand strategy and execution for a client in Lekki, Lagos. The role is ideal for a commercially‑minded professional with a strong background in pharmaceuticals or insurance, who can build brand equity, drive market positioning, and translate strategy into measurable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute brand strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
• Own brand positioning, messaging, and identity across all touchpoints.
• Plan and manage marketing campaigns from concept to execution, tracking performance against KPIs.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and external agencies to ensure a consistent brand experience.
• Manage brand budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Monitor brand health metrics and report on performance, adjusting strategy as needed.
• Lead product launches and brand campaigns to ensure strong market entry and visibility.
• Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including media, agencies, and partners.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of brand management experience in the pharmaceutical or insurance industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and campaigns.
• Strong analytical ability to translate data into actionable decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience managing budgets and external agency relationships.
• Strategic thinker comfortable with hands‑on execution.
• Based in or willing to commute reliably to Lekki, Lagos for full‑time onsite work.
