About the role
Castville Solutions is looking for a diligent and trustworthy Book Keeper to keep accurate records of all financial transactions and inventory movements. The role suits someone who is detail-oriented, honest and able to give clear daily and weekly reports to management.
Key responsibilities
- Record daily sales, purchases, expenses and receipts accurately.
- Maintain the petty cash book, sales ledger and carry out daily cash reconciliation.
- Reconcile cash on hand with POS and sales records at close of business each day.
- Track and document stock movement together with shop attendants.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly sales and expense reports to management.
- Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of all financial documents.
Required profile
- OND/HND in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
- 1-2 years of proven experience as a Book Keeper, Cashier or Accounts Clerk.
- Honest, accurate and able to work with minimal supervision.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping principles.
- Basic Excel.
