About the role
The BIM Specialist will support the engineering team by preparing 2D drawings and developing 3D BIM models. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit in a construction consulting environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D BIM models with Autodesk Revit.
- Assist engineers in producing structural and civil drawings.
- Update and revise drawings based on engineering feedback.
- Ensure all documentation follows company drafting standards.
- Organise and maintain project files and documentation.
- Participate in internal BIM training and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to deliver quality documentation.
Required profile
- Minimum HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; recent graduates and NYSC members who have completed service are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in an engineering consulting firm is an advantage.
