Billing Support Specialist

About the role

The Billing Support Specialist will ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of customer invoices for products and services delivered by Weatherford. Working closely with Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, Accounts Receivable and customers, the role supports revenue recognition and upholds high billing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices within contractual and company timelines.
• Review field tickets, service reports, purchase orders, contracts and supporting documents for billing completeness.
• Validate pricing against agreements, rate schedules and approved quotations.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with operational and commercial teams.
• Ensure billing transactions comply with financial controls, internal policies and accounting standards.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close by completing billing activities on schedule.
• Monitor unbilled revenue, reduce backlogs and coordinate with Accounts Receivable on invoice queries.
• Maintain accurate billing records in ERP systems and generate routine billing reports and KPIs.
• Assist with customer audits and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in billing, finance operations, accounts receivable or revenue administration.
• Experience in oil & gas, energy, manufacturing or engineering sectors is preferred.
• Professional accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, ICAN) are advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong knowledge of billing processes, invoice generation and financial controls.
• Ability to analyze documentation and validate pricing against contracts.
