Baker – Cakes & Pastries

About the role

Our client, a baking business in Lekki, Lagos, is looking for a skilled and creative baker with 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in cakes and pastries. The role requires a passion for baking, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and decorate cakes and a variety of pastries.
• Follow recipes and accurately measure ingredients to ensure consistent quality.
• Prepare mixtures, fillings, and toppings as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene in the kitchen and baking area.
• Handle, store, and preserve ingredients and finished products safely.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of practical baking experience, especially with cakes and pastries.
• Ability to read and write and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Willingness to work the specified schedule in Lekki.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, measurements, and recipes.
• Ability to prepare a variety of cakes and pastries independently.
• Strong hygiene, organization, and time‑management skills.

What we offer

• Salary of ₦100,000 per month.
• Accommodation provided.
• Work schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM with 4 weekdays and 2 Sundays off per month.
