AV Project Manager

About the role

eRecruiter is recruiting, on behalf of its client, an experienced AV Project Manager for a provider of luxury smart home and commercial automation solutions. The client delivers integrated systems such as smart lighting, security, climate control and audiovisual experiences. The AV Project Manager oversees project execution and engineering operations in their region, leads the project management team and provides technical oversight to AV System Integrators.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional project development from conception to completion, in line with business goals
• Craft project plans covering timelines, resource allocation and budgeting, and communicate objectives to team and stakeholders
• Allocate tasks to Project Administrators and AV System Integrators, manage dependencies and critical paths, and schedule milestones
• Generate progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations; handle scope changes proactively
• Run a structured communication plan for clients on procurement and milestones, and collaborate with supply chain on procurement
• Develop regional strategies aligned with industry standards, mentor the engineering team, and ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards
• Oversee the regional budget, run project post-mortems, and establish project management best practices
• Provide Project Valuation reports to clients and mentor AV System Integrators

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field
• Active PMP, Prince2 or equivalent project management certification
• Proven track record managing complex AV and automation projects or similar ones
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in AV and automation, including AVIXA, CEDIA or OEM training, and keeping the regional engineering team certified
