Autoclave Loader – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Autoclave Loader supports the sterilisation of production materials, equipment and components in a GMP‑compliant manufacturing environment. You will operate the autoclave, ensure accurate cycle parameters and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload filled pouches from autoclaves following standard procedures.
• Operate autoclave machines safely, monitoring temperature, pressure and time.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the autoclave section and related equipment.
• Perform routine lubrication of autoclaves and parking trolleys as scheduled.
• Record and report equipment breakdowns, malfunctions and abnormal sterilisation outcomes.
• Document autoclaving activities, including cycle data and downtime.
• Prepare and submit end‑of‑shift reports to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety, hygiene and GMP requirements.
• Assist with any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• OND / Technical Certificate or SSCE with relevant production experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar autoclave or sterilisation role.
• Familiarity with GMP and workplace safety standards.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, beverage or food manufacturing is an advantage.
