Audit Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading pan‑Nigeria enterprise operating in manufacturing, distribution, retail and real estate, is expanding rapidly and needs a seasoned Audit Manager to strengthen its Audit Department. You will join the senior management team and support the Audit Head in safeguarding the company’s assets and ensuring robust financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Audit Head in overall management of the audit function.
• Act as a critical safeguard, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external standards.
• Optimize audit processes and improve efficiency.
• Protect company assets and interests through effective risk assessment.
• Ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting across all business units.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of audit experience.
• At least 3 years in a senior audit leadership role within a commercial enterprise.
• First‑degree qualification; MBA considered a strong advantage.
• Relevant professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA).
