Audit Accountant

About the role

Winnyz Catering is hiring a full-time Audit Accountant in Marina, Lagos. The role covers regular audits of financial records, revenue assurance and inventory checks, with a stated monthly remuneration of NGN 250,000.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits of financial records, transactions, invoices, receipts, vouchers and supporting documents.
• Review daily sales reports, cash collections, POS transactions, bank transfers and other revenue records.
• Identify and investigate revenue leakages, unexplained cash shortages, irregular transactions and possible fraud.
• Carry out periodic physical stock counts and reconcile them with inventory records.
• Audit the receipt, storage, issuance, transfer and use of supermarket products and other assets, and investigate stock shortages, expired products and variances between physical stock and system balances.
• Maintain accurate, confidential and well-organized audit records and working papers.
• Provide supporting documentation during external audits, tax reviews and other financial assessments.

Required profile

• HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in auditing or accounting, preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, retail or FMCG industry.
• Professional qualification such as ICAN or ACCA is an advantage.
