Assembly Repair & Overhaul Technician – Pressure Pumping

About the role

You will troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and perform visual inspection of electro‑mechanical assemblies as part of a wellbore intervention team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation.
• Rework, repair and modify non‑conforming equipment.
• Analyze and interpret data from environmental tests and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Provide technical support to other groups and co‑workers.
• Coach other technicians in areas of proven competence.
• Inspect and disposition parts and equipment.
• Comply with HS&E policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical field.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in electro‑mechanical functions.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists.
• Advanced soldering and electro‑mechanical assembly skills.
• Proficiency with multimeters, megohmmeters, hi‑pot testers and basic instruments.
• Experience using measurement and gauging equipment.
• Knowledge of fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits and electro‑mechanical devices.
• Basic analytical ability to solve difficult technical problems.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes.
