Lead Control System Engineer

About the role

INTECH Automation Intelligence is looking for a Lead Design & Application Engineer to advance its Process Automation Solutions across Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities and Renewable Energy. The role covers integrated control systems, SCADA virtualization, wellhead automation and telecommunication, working on projects such as virtualized SCADA for satellite sites and pipelines, and upstream/downstream automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement software for industrial automation systems (PCS, SIS, F&G, SCADA, CMS, PMS, instrument asset management, electrical systems and their communication systems).
• Analyse project specifications and control philosophies to define control logic, interlocks, alarms, timers, diagnostics and sequence routines.
• Design and configure HMI/SCADA applications, including graphics, animations, faceplates and alarm banners.
• Develop complex control strategies such as sequence logic, SFCs, cascade control, ratio control, split-range control and advanced PID loops.
• Configure inter/intra-system communications using serial, fieldbus and Ethernet protocols.
• Implement data acquisition, historian and alarm management systems, and support industrial network architecture and cybersecurity.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation such as FDS, FAT/SAT procedures and system manuals.
• Take part in FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, training and handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience with strong technical skills in HIMA, Emerson DeltaV and GE Mark VI.
• Good understanding of industrial standards, instrumentation and system functionality.
• Ability to interpret FRS, P&IDs and C&E diagrams.
• Experience in FAT, testing, commissioning and site work, including commissioning and startup.
