Area Sales Manager – Mini Grids

About the role

Husk Power Systems is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead the expansion of its Mini‑Grids business across Nigeria and the wider Sub‑Saharan region. You will drive revenue growth, manage a sales team, and champion the company’s mission to provide reliable renewable energy to underserved rural communities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and mentor the Mini‑Grids sales team to achieve high performance.
• Define and execute the strategic vision for Hybrid Mini‑Grids (HMG) sales.
• Implement and disseminate best‑practice sales processes across the organization.
• Manage day‑to‑day sales operations, ensuring targets are met.
• Forecast, plan and monitor monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Collaborate closely with the Country Director on financial performance and growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in territorial or regional sales, preferably in energy or related sectors.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high‑performing teams.
• Passion for solving energy access challenges in rural Nigeria.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
