Area Phone Business Manager – Ningi, Bauchi State

About the role

The Area Phone Business Manager will lead PayGo phone sales and oversee a network of commission‑based agents in the Ningi area. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and supporting agents while ensuring sales targets, repayment quality, and inventory discipline are met.

Key responsibilities

• Agent Acquisition & Development – recruit new agents, onboard them, and certify through Litmos within two weeks; run bi‑weekly coaching sessions.
• Sales & Productivity – achieve monthly unit targets, monitor agent productivity, and coordinate field activations with marketing.
• Portfolio & Collections – ensure quality customer onboarding, follow up on defaults, manage FPD and PAR30 metrics, and work with credit teams to reduce repossessions.
• Agent Engagement & Retention – conduct weekly field visits, track exit reasons, recognize top performers, and reactivate inactive agents.
• Inventory & Compliance – maintain stock variance within tolerance, perform monthly audits, and provide accurate weekly reports.
• Compliance & Reporting – submit timely reports, adhere to Sun King policies, and uphold zero‑tolerance for unethical practices.

Required profile

• HND or BSc in a business‑related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on field sales experience.
• Experience with PayGo, device financing, or agent‑network models (solar experience a plus).
• Strong knowledge of the assigned territory and trade routes.
