Area Phone Business Manager – Ikpoba Okha, Edo State

About the role

The Area Phone Business Manager will lead Pay‑Go phone sales and oversee a network of commission‑based agents in Ikpoba Okha, Edo State. You will be responsible for recruiting, training and supporting agents, driving monthly sales targets and ensuring high‑quality customer onboarding in a fast‑moving device‑financing market.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and certify new agents, and convert existing Sun King agents into phone‑selling partners.
• Deliver monthly unit sales targets and monitor agent productivity, applying micro‑incentives where needed.
• Manage portfolio quality, follow up on defaulting customers, and work with Credit & Operations to minimise repossessions.
• Conduct regular field visits, coaching sessions and recognition activities to retain and motivate agents.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, perform monthly audits and ensure compliance with Sun King policies.
• Submit weekly performance reports on time and uphold zero‑tolerance standards for unethical practices.

Required profile

• HND or BSc in a business‑related field.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on field sales experience, preferably in PayGo, device financing or agent‑network models.
• Strong knowledge of the Ikpoba Okha territory and its trade routes.
• Ability to influence, coach and convert agents into a high‑performing sales force.
