Area Business Manager – Direct Sales (Oron, Akwa Ibom)

About the role

The Area Business Manager will lead Sun King’s direct‑distribution network for EasyBuy solar products in Oron, Akwa Ibom State. Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring timely collections, and expanding the footprint of clean, affordable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and retain a team of at least 40 Energy Officers, leveraging local influencers such as village heads, teachers and farmers.
• Provide comprehensive product, sales, collections, inventory and logistics training to Energy Officers.
• Define clear daily routes, targets and sales plans, and ensure Energy Officers have the tools to demonstrate and sell Sun King products.
• Conduct weekly field visits and joint sales activities, including night and market activations, to coach officers and resolve operational issues.
• Monitor performance, collect field feedback and report progress to the Regional Business Manager on a weekly basis.

• Strong understanding of direct‑to‑consumer sales and collection processes.
