About the role
The Area Business Manager will lead the direct distribution of Sun King's solar products sold on a pay-as-you-go basis (EasyBuy) in Etim Ekpo, coordinating sales, collections and logistics through a network of Energy Officers.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit, train and retain at least 40 Energy Officers, leveraging local influencers such as village heads, teachers and religious leaders.
- Provide ongoing product, sales, collections, inventory and logistics training and supervision to Energy Officers.
- Define clear daily routes, targets and performance metrics for Energy Officers.
- Conduct weekly field visits, joint sales calls and resolve operational issues.
- Monitor and ensure timely and accurate collections and inventory control.
- Report weekly performance and challenges to the Regional Business Manager.
Required profile
- Proven experience in field sales or direct distribution management.
- Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a rural environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
