Annuity Business Manager

About the role

The Annuity Business Manager will lead and grow Cornerstone Insurance's annuity portfolio, overseeing product performance and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with brokers and partners, conduct market and competitor analysis, and monitor sales activities.
• Prepare performance reports and forecasts, collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, finance, and customer service teams to optimise product design, pricing and customer experience.
• Support recruitment, training and guidance for sales teams, promote operational efficiency and drive initiatives to increase customer retention and sustainable growth.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of annuity products, life insurance and pension solutions, with experience managing insurance or financial services portfolios.
• Proven business development and sales management skills, including target setting, pipeline management and relationship building.
• Ability to conduct market research, data analysis and performance reporting for strategic planning.
• Understanding of Nigerian insurance regulatory frameworks, especially NAICOM guidelines.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities, with strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Leadership experience in team coordination, mentoring and stakeholder management.
• Residency in Warri or Port‑Harcourt.
