Administration Manager – Energy Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Administration Manager to lead office and project support functions for our energy client in Abuja, Nigeria. The role combines administrative oversight, HR support, and logistical coordination for rural solar mini‑grid projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day administration of the Nigeria office and project sites, ensuring smooth operations and policy compliance.
• Provide logistics, procurement, and accommodation support for solar mini‑grid projects.
• Assist the Country Manager with schedule management, travel arrangements, meeting coordination, and reporting.
• Manage vendors, service providers, office facilities, security, and set‑up of new locations.
• Coordinate domestic and international travel, visas, hotels, and transportation for staff and events.
• Handle basic HR functions including onboarding, employee records, attendance, leave, recruitment coordination, payroll inputs, and employee engagement.
• Maintain statutory registrations, licenses, permits, insurance records, and ensure compliance with local laws.
• Administer the administration budget, process invoices, and coordinate vendor payments with Finance.
• Maintain asset and inventory records, monitor allocation, and conduct periodic audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in administration, office management or HR administration.
• Experience supporting project‑based businesses in infrastructure, energy, power or construction is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑location operations and remote project sites.
