Admin Intern

About the role

The Steigen Limited is looking for an Admin Intern in Lagos (Marina) to provide general administrative support to staff and management and help keep office operations running smoothly. The internship is open to candidates with an OND or who are currently in school and available for an IT/industrial training period.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily administrative and office operations and general support to staff and management
• Organise, maintain and update office files, records and documents
• Handle incoming calls, emails and correspondence professionally
• Help schedule meetings, appointments and other office activities
• Prepare, type and format reports, letters, memos and other official documents
• Perform data entry and keep accurate records
• Welcome visitors and direct them to the right departments or people
• Help manage office supplies and monitor inventory levels
• Support the coordination of meetings, events and internal activities
• Keep the office clean, organised and professional, and assist with filing, photocopying, scanning and printing
• Follow up on assigned tasks so they are completed on time

Required profile

• Minimum of OND qualification, or currently in school and available for an IT/industrial training period
• Resident of or living close to Gbagada
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Well-organised, punctual and responsible
• Willingness to learn and take initiative

Required skills

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
