Admin / HR Officer

About the role

A client is looking for a proactive and organized Admin / HR Officer based in Surulere, Lagos, to oversee daily administrative operations and human resource functions. The role supports employee management and compliance while keeping office operations running smoothly. It is a full-time, on-site position working Monday to Saturday.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding
• Maintain accurate employee records and the HR database
• Handle attendance, leave tracking and payroll support
• Deal with employee relations, conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies
• Drive staff welfare, engagement and performance management
• Oversee day-to-day office administration and facility management
• Manage office supplies, inventory and procurement, and coordinate with vendors and service providers
• Keep documentation, filing and records in order, and support management with reports and operational tasks

Required profile

• BSc/HND in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• 2-4 years of proven experience as an HR/Admin Officer or similar role
• Solid knowledge of HR best practices and Nigerian labour laws
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work with minimal supervision
• Must live within or close to Surulere and be available Monday to Saturday
