Accounts Officer

About the role

Castville Solutions is looking for an experienced, professional and reliable Accounts Officer to manage the organisation's financial operations. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and statutory compliance, with a high sense of integrity, accuracy and accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor daily financial transactions, including payables and receivables
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
• Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow management and budget tracking
• Process staff payroll and ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions such as PAYE, pension and WHT
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and support internal and external audit processes
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date accounting records using accounting software

Required profile

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 2-3 years of proven experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and tax compliance
• Honest, detail-oriented and highly organised

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage
• Advanced Excel
