Accountant – Warehousing Finance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage financial operations within our warehousing and manufacturing environment in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The role involves ensuring compliance, processing payments, and supporting budgeting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure standard operating procedures are followed and identify gaps for improvement.
• Process payments to vendors, fuel suppliers, and offloaders' wages.
• Collaborate with the Control Unit to prepare monthly and quarterly warehouse budgets.
• Validate authorizations for write‑offs, discounts, and damaged stock adjustments.
• Track tax and VAT remittances to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Reconcile distinct revenue streams and payment‑gateway settlements against the ledger.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience in a warehousing or manufacturing setting.
• Strong numerical accuracy and knowledge of regulatory compliance and fraud detection.
• Professional integrity, ethics and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• ICAN qualification and NYSC discharge certificate are advantageous.
• Residency in Abeokuta, Ogun State is required.
