Accountant – Manufacturing & Warehousing

About the role

Primote Africa is seeking a diligent Accountant to join its finance team in Lagos. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for its manufacturing and warehousing operations and supporting the month‑end and year‑end closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting systems.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Monitor factory expenses, inventory costs, and operational budgets.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Support payroll processing and vendor payments.
• Assist management with financial planning, cost control, and trade receivables.
• Prepare audit schedules and support external auditors.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ICAN certification (mandatory).
• 3–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or factory operations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting abilities.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Candidate must be below 35 years of age.
