Accountant – Lead Finance Team

About the role

Skache Integrated Services is seeking an experienced Accountant to lead its accounting team and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting for its micro‑finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations, including general ledger management, reconciliations and transaction processing.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, budgets and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and CBN requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses and internal controls to protect the bank’s assets.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve audit findings promptly.
• Oversee tax computations, statutory deductions and filing of returns.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA) with a degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum 24 months experience in a micro‑finance bank or similar sector.
• Proven track record in accounting, financial reporting and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, financial controls and CBN regulations.
• High integrity, accuracy, accountability and attention to detail.
• Residence in or around Apapa, Lagos, or ability to commute.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using financial reporting tools.
