Accountant

About the role

CASS is looking for an experienced and dependable Accountant to support its Nigerian operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective controls, and smooth day‑to‑day accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain financial records and prepare monthly management accounts and reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, receivables, payables and other balance‑sheet items.
• Manage patient and HMO billing, claims, collections and outstanding balances.
• Process approved vendor payments and support payroll, tax filings and statutory remittances.
• Support budgeting, cash‑flow planning, cost monitoring and audit preparation.
• Strengthen financial controls and improve accounting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• At least three years of relevant accounting experience, including reconciliations and financial or management reporting.
• Sound knowledge of Nigerian tax, payroll and financial reporting requirements.
• Integrity, accuracy, confidentiality and ability to meet reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
