About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Lagos. The role involves managing all accounting transactions, preparing budgets, and supporting strategic financial decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day accounting transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare budgets, management reports and forecast costs and revenues.
- Handle statutory payments, taxes and deductions in compliance with regulations.
- Produce financial statements and assist in critical financial decision‑making.
- Ensure proper documentation of all accounting activities.
Required profile
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong business acumen, critical thinking and analytical abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving and proactive attitude.
- Leadership and organisational skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with PeachTree accounting software, Sage or comparable accounting systems.
- Solid knowledge of cost accounting and management accounting principles.
