Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Lagos. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy of financial records, and supporting the preparation of reports.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, examining, and analysing accounting records and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Appraise, evaluate, and maintain an inventory of company assets, updating the asset register.
• Record, reconcile, and post petty cash and fuel imprest transactions.
• Reconcile payments and receipts, confirm customer deposits, and issue receipts.
• Manage all accounting transactions, including payroll administration and control of income and expenditure.
• Audit financial information and compile reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries, and financial statements.
• Perform any other related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• HND or B.Sc degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a relevant accounting role.
• Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Solid knowledge and competency in accounting principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software (any).

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of NGN 200,000 – 250,000 per month.
• Full‑time permanent position.
