Accountant – Full-time position in Lagos

Rekrut Consulting is seeking a diligent Accountant to join its finance team in Lagos. The role involves managing core accounting functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing financial insights that support strategic decisions. This is a full‑time, on‑site position within a dynamic advertising and media environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements and management reports.
• Manage the general ledger, perform reconciliations, and oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and liaise with auditors.
• Implement and improve internal financial controls.
• Provide financial insights to support management decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in a similar accounting role.
• Mid‑level professional with proven ability to handle end‑to‑end accounting cycles.
