Accountant – Full-Time Onsite

About the role

The Paper Packaging Company (TPPC) is seeking an Accountant to join its Lagos office. This full‑time, onsite position will support day‑to‑day financial operations and help drive data‑informed decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and periodic reports.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and payments.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Assist with budgeting, cash‑flow monitoring, cost tracking and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide timely financial information.

Required profile

• Strong core accounting skills, including ledger management, reporting and reconciliations.
• Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, Zoho and spreadsheet tools.
• Basic data analysis capability.
• Sound knowledge of local tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and numeracy abilities.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and communication skills.
