Accountant – Full-time, On-site in Ibadan

About the role

Adron Homes, a leading real‑estate developer in Nigeria, is seeking a full‑time Accountant to join its Ibadan office. The role will support the financial health of the company’s extensive portfolio of residential estates by managing day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensuring compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and assist with budgeting.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Assist auditors and respond to finance‑related queries from internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide accurate financial information for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of core accounting principles and general ledger management.
• Experience in budgeting, cash‑flow management, variance analysis and supporting audits.
• Attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP accounting systems.
• Advanced use of spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with financial analysis tools.
