About the role
We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our finance team in Lagos. The role involves managing the full spectrum of accounting transactions, preparing budgets and delivering accurate financial reports to support strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions and ensure proper record‑keeping.
- Prepare budgets, management reports and forecasts of costs and revenues.
- Handle statutory payments, taxes and deductions in compliance with regulations.
- Provide financial analysis to aid critical decision‑making.
- Generate various financial reports as required.
Required profile
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting or equivalent.
- 3‑5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong business acumen, critical thinking and analytical abilities.
- Attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset and proactive attitude.
- Leadership and organisational skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with PeachTree accounting software.
- Experience using Sage or other accounting software.
