Account Sales Manager

About the role

The Account Sales Manager is responsible for proactively identifying and managing group and catering opportunities for the property. The role focuses on driving revenue, up‑selling services, and ensuring a seamless hand‑over to operations for flawless event delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and close new group and catering business to meet personal and property revenue targets.
• Respond to inbound opportunities outside the Event Booking Center, negotiate contracts and prepare proposals.
• Upsell additional services to maximize revenue per booking.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate contract execution and timely service delivery.
• Monitor same‑day selling activities to optimize room occupancy and revenue.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services or a related field, OR a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a similar discipline.
• Proven ability to achieve revenue goals and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Negotiation and contract writing.
• Understanding of market trends, competitor analysis and demand forecasting.
• Customer service orientation and ability to manage client expectations.
