Account Executive – Ilushin, Ogun State

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Account Executive to manage day‑to‑day financial operations for our client in Ilushin, Ogun State. The role involves maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and supporting budgeting and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting entries.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other financial documents.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses and daily financial activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Support payroll processing and staff reimbursement procedures.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and relevant regulations.
• Assist during internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers and internal departments on financial matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations and financial controls.
• Understanding of cost accounting and inventory management processes.
