Access Control Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Access Control Engineer to design, install, and maintain advanced security systems for our automotive and aviation projects. The role involves hands‑on work in the field, ensuring reliable operation of biometric devices, smart locks, and related infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test access control hardware such as biometric readers, smart locks, card readers, turnstiles and CCTV systems.
• Troubleshoot electronic circuits, power supplies and signal connectivity to minimise downtime.
• Set up software tools and backend databases required for system operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades and final commissioning of new and existing projects.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, including site reports and configuration logs.
• Provide client training, technical advice and escalation support for complex issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with installation and support of access control and security systems.
• Strong ability to read circuit diagrams and diagnose power and signal problems.
• Willingness to work on‑site across multiple locations and travel as needed.
