Waiter (Full-time)

About the role

The Alpha-Plus Apartments 91 team is looking for a friendly and reliable Waiter to join its full-time hospitality staff in Abuja. You will be responsible for delivering a memorable dining experience, handling orders accurately, and maintaining a clean service area.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly, escort them to tables and present menus.
• Take orders, serve meals and beverages, and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Prepare and present food according to department standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining rooms, and walkways.
• Restock condiments, plasticware, coffee, ice bins and other supplies.
• Coordinate seating and dining room flow to provide fast, courteous service.
• Pass service standards and POS knowledge tests with scores of 90% or higher.
• Support team members and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a waiter or in a similar hospitality role.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality service.
• Ability to follow detailed task instructions and maintain cleanliness standards.
